Preservings Magazine

Preservings is a magazine issued twice a year by the Plett Foundation. Published for twenty years, Preservings focuses on Mennonite history related to the cultural background, migration and settlement of conservative Mennonites who came to Manitoba from imperial Russia in the 1870s. The redesign and rebranding of the magazine in 2018 included elevating the design, layout and final print quality to better reflect the beauty of the historic content, with a focus on the reproduction of historically relevant images and photographs printed at large scale. Updated fonts, colours and reconfigured layout improved the reader experience, repositioning the magazine with a younger audience. Subscribe for only $20/year. 2024
