Gikino’amaagedaa Anishinaabemowin: Let’s Teach the Ojibwe Language
This Ojibwe language guide was prepared for the Manitoba Museum’s Nametwaawin Outreach Project and is intended to give guidance to teachers in the communities of the Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are nine units with accompanying lessons and exercises for students along with flash cards for interactive teaching. The initial document submitted required extensive organization and detailed editing before beginning the design process. Engaging illustrations were created along with a fun colour palette and easy to read fonts to help teach this beautiful language to the community. 2022 [Vector illustrations by Michael Custode]
